I miss you Grandad .... The last time I saw you we weren’t allowed to hug and that hurt , but if I knew it was to be the very last time I saw you I would have broken every rule just to squeeze you one last time . A true gentle giant , with a big shiny face and beaming smile . I’m at peace knowing I was the last person to see before today, even if it was in a forever sleep. Today we say goodbye but I cannot believe you have gone. 😢 You were a true gentleman it is sad & so wrong 💔 You were always kind & caring towards me, understood & laughed at my sense of humour or sometimes sarcasm!!! 🤪 You always asked how I was feeling, & would be concerned with what I was having to go through, even when I said I was fine, you’d give me a look like you knew I wasn’t. You certainly didn’t deserve to go the way you did, you will be so sadly missed but you are now at peace & will be in all our hearts forever ❤️ Karen xx

Grandchild , Charlotte I remember the first time Grandad came to America on my 11th birthday and It was so funny because he got scared by one of the Disney characters ,Tigger. When we played Mini Golf, he taught me how to hold the golf club and how to stand professionally like a golfer. With his guidance, I got a hole in one. I loved him so much and he will always be in my heart forever. Love you Grandad and rest in peace x

Although it has been a very long time since we saw you in person it has been quite fun chatting over Facebook. Those memories will forever be golden for us here in Kingston Ontario. Hugs to you and may you Rest In Peace. Love Julia Lynch and Gary Harrison xx

Still can’t believe you’ve passed Mick , I am really going to miss our monthly ish Wednesday evening dinners, the last one we had before lock down was your for your birthday at the new Turkish in town you got so embarrassed when the waitress bought out a slice of cake and sang you happy birthday, we always had lots to talk about during our meals and Andy and I really loved our time we spent with you and June, don’t worry Mick we’ll still continue them with June’s and now talk and share memories about you. I’m still going to continue teaching Libby the poem about the lady who came up to me . You’ll be so missed and mean so much to everyone.

A big man who was a constant throughout my life. We shared some laughs over the years Mick, you loved to laugh. The best audience a comedian could ever wish for, hope you and my Dad are having a laugh now. God bless Mick.

Grandad I’m forever grateful of all the times you travelled to watch me play football in any weather even if it was in the horrendous retro pink and purple coat.... I always knew you was there... also for all the laughs you gave us breaking your teeth nearly every time we went out for dinner😂 always made me laugh!! I will always remember making each other laugh whenever we met, which was never often enough. Uncle Mick will be sadly missed by us all.
